I'll come round your house and stamp on all your toys

Ohhh my goodness today I spent four hours totally trouncing a ten-year-old at Monopoly. It was great fun! (Don't look at me like that, she was the one doing the trouncing on Sunday. I was just a lot more tactical with my approach ( Read more... )

FUNNILY ENOUGH, I did actually exclaim "Aaahh, crushing the dreams of a small child!" as I forced her to decide which property to give me to pay off her debts. Good times 8D

AHAHA AWESOME. I like to horribly torment all my friends' kids, as they all know me well enough by now to not ever believe a single word I say. THEY SEE RIGHT THROUGH ME WITH THEIR EVIL SINISTER BABY EYES.

EXAMPLE:

me: now that your mom & dad are having another baby, what are they going to do with you?
kid: lolwut
me: well, they won't need YOU anymore, will they? they will have a BRAND NEW BABY to love. prolly they will sell you on the internets.
kid: i guess i'll have to come LIVE WITH YOU, AUNTY LIZZY, FOREVER AND EVER.
me: nooooo. *sobs*
kid: hee!

1x07 is actually the one before the finale, right? I actually almost threw up during that one from the embarrassment-squickiness of it all. Not to harsh your squee or anything! I just think it's funny you were all, "slash, wheeee!" and I was all "OH GOD CRAZY SAM INNA BATHROOM RUN AWAY."

However, this: LoM/SPN crossover... OMG DO WANT.

Ahahaaa well, I don't get embarrassment squicked and I love me some crazy!Sam. HE IS MY FAVOURITE OF THE SAMS. 1x07 makes me all "slash, wheeee!" and also "OH MY GOD CRAZY SAM INNA BATHROOM YAAAY 8D"

I have no idea how it would work but I want it. :/ Okay, there are Castiel's magical time-travelling powers to utilise, but there is still the whole Life on Mars is all in Sam's mind thing to contend with. Plus, it's in England! How on earth would we get Dean all the way over to England.

Oh... I actually didn't think about the logistics of it. I mean, you can just handwave the SPN part of it by magical amulets or Castiel or whatever, but considering it's all in Sam's head in LoM...

HOSHIT WAIT. DREAMROOT. Sam and Dean use dreamroot to get into coma!Sam's brain! I still don't know how you get Dean to England, though. Tranquilizers?

I have put far too much thought into this crossover, tbh. BUT CLEARLY NOT ENOUGH - DREAMROOT, yes! Fantastic! And maybe Sam is the one who travels the distance. Maybe. I suspect coma patients aren't regularly transported across the Atlantic, but perhaps he's sent to House or something...

I'm not attached to it enough to be terrified at the thought of screwing it up like I am with everything else right now.

I despise that feeling. I hope it passes quickly for you!

And I keep hearing about Life on Mars, so I suppose I ought to get around to watching it one day.

Auugh hopefully I will have the time tomorrow to actually sit down and have a whack at it. TOO MUCH BABYSITTING. HOW DO PARENTS COPE WITH THIS?

omg do get on and do that. Absolutely you must. It is incredible.

I think they cope by hiring babysitters. 8| Clearly the ideal solution is to lure those buskers from Oxford to come to your house--they can watch your cousin while you write and listen to yeehaw!Hallelujah!

YES MA'AM.

I just rcently started watching it, and in a turn of AWESOME BRAINTWINS-NESS, I just finished the first series (1x07 and 1x08) today. :DDD

DOWNSIDE: I AM SQUICKED BY CHARACTERS OBVIOUSLY MAKING MISTAKES BECAUSE OF PREJUDICE AND ASSUMPTIONS. :/
