I'll come round your house and stamp on all your toys

Ohhh my goodness today I spent four hours totally trouncing a ten-year-old at Monopoly. It was great fun! (Don't look at me like that, she was the one doing the trouncing on Sunday. I was just a lot more tactical with my approach.)

So I actually managed to write today. A little bit. Just a couple of pages, long hand, with my terrible writing. I'm not entirely sure I actually like it but whatever, I've got a bit of an idea and I'm not attached to it enough to be terrified at the thought of screwing it up like I am with everything else right now.

Anyway, I've been having a bit of a Life on Mars marathon over these last few days. How many people on my flist watch LoM? IT SHOULD BE ALL OF YOU.

But anyway, today was 1x07 - the one where that drug dealer kid dies in the cells whilst Sam and Gene are off having a romantic curry, and Sam gets all up in the team's negligence - which I for some reason don't actually watch that much. I HAD FORGOTTEN HOW MUCH I LOVE IT! You'd think I would remember an episode so jam-packed with Sam being crazy and Gene being homoerotic tension-y and whatnot, and yet! (Oh that bit where Sam is being all insane at the radio in the curry place and Gene is all 'OH SIGH SAM'S BEING CRAZY AGAIN, I'LL FETCH HIS JACKET.' Glorious.)

Upshot of which is, goddd how I want a LoM/SPN crossover. Sam and Sam are batshit crazy together, Dean and Gene exchange concerned/grouchily understanding glances whilst their respective Sams clutch at their heads and spout weird things.

Watch Life on Mars, plz, those of you who don't. The delightful SPN crossover potential won't discuss itself!

writing, things that people should write me, tree can't write, you know it would be hot, rl: babysitting shenanigans, tv: life on mars
