OMG, my index finger is THE finger I use when I write! How can you have it flying up in the air like that! XD I hold my pen weirdly, at lest compared to most people I know who kind of pinch the pen between thumb and finger; actually I hold it like you with the thumb up past the pen except I control it with the index finger.

I used to hold pens with my index finger and thumb, until about five years ago when I got a cut right on the tip of it, idk a paper cut I think? So I had to move the pen down a finger to write, and SUDDENLY EVERYTHING FELT SO RIGHT. I can't even get my fingers to go where they used to properly any more.

Your fingers baffle me. I know I am the one who holds pens in a pretty irregular way, but aaaahhh yours makes no sense to my brain.

Also, I demolished two packets of chocolate cookies over my laptop over the last few days, so I feel your crusty pain.

OMG, dude. So I tried holding a pen your way? My experiment was a TRAGIC FAILURE. The pen did some crazy flip right out of my hand, bounced off my glasses, and landed in my tea. PEN HOLDING IS SRS BZNSS U GUYS.

I keep reading "hold pens" as "hold penis", which is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT MEME, OBVSLY, and requires an assistant.

This is EXACTLY how I hold my pens. So few people do it like this! But it feels so comfortable. :)

Oh Deity-Of-Your-Choice it's hot. I just walked the dog (no, that's *not* a euphemism) and now I'm all sticky and bleh.

You hold your pen like WHAT? How do you even write? I just tried it, and my writing is under my hand. You can't read it as you write. That's crazy talk! No camera to hand, so I shall describe my writing style as like that of the lovely lazy_daze, but with my thumb brought to touch my first finger so that the pen or pencil is completely encircled. Savvy?

I DID NOT. BECAUSE I COULD NOT BE BOTHERED. I may have a chance with alpacas tomorrow, though!

Sooooo hot. Augh. It's cooled down a little bit in here now (I made a strategic retreat to watch Glastonbury and read Bill Bryson for a few hours), as the sun is no longer shining DIRECTLY THROUGH THE WINDOW AND ONTO MY KEYBOARD, but still. HOT.

I will take so many pictures you won't know what to do with them!

Ahahaha what, if your writing is under your hand YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG. I can't even figure out how you're doing it!
