OMG, my index finger is THE finger I use when I write! How can you have it flying up in the air like that! XD I hold my pen weirdly, at lest compared to most people I know who kind of pinch the pen between thumb and finger; actually I hold it like you with the thumb up past the pen except I control it with the index finger.

I used to hold pens with my index finger and thumb, until about five years ago when I got a cut right on the tip of it, idk a paper cut I think? So I had to move the pen down a finger to write, and SUDDENLY EVERYTHING FELT SO RIGHT. I can't even get my fingers to go where they used to properly any more.
