I hate politics the way I hate sports; I loathe the irrational emotional investment people feel for those who have little to no direct connection to them. Whether it was hard-ons for Obama or unwavering sympathy for Hillary, I was prepared to roll my eyes and vote based on rational contemplation of all the options presented to me

Reasons why we should gracefully abandon LJ:

1. We don't have the time to write anymore.

2. People completely miss the point of our entries, focusing on grammar mistakes or challenging the authenticity of facts.

3. We're not looking to hook up with anyone on this site.

4. People don't respond to our comments.

5. We rarely communicate with each other through this forum.

6. We're thin and attractive.

Reasons not to abandon LJ:

1. We both love a good train wreck.

2. jr_red, improperbrahmin, jdhorner, and when he's not flowing heavy, salacious_pop.

I guess the primary reason for me not to is -
What the fuck else do you do online when you *do* have the time? I suppose I do have about seventy "projects" in my backlog that I never get to.

I do have one more reason for gracefully abandoning it all though-
