I think Howard Stern uses it all the time on his radio show too. It's right on the tip of my tongue... but all I keep coming up with are schmuck and mensch, neither of which applies (well... the latter might apply to her, but not to this situation... and the association with the male genitalia makes it all the less appropriate).
