"I could turn around if it makes you more comfortable..." M. offered, smirking somewhat.

I just shrugged and stepped out of my boxers. She was still smiling as she turned to leave the room. I stood naked in front of V. for a moment of silence ( Read more... )

(although I would like to point out that drinking your own urine once hardly qualifies as a fetish)

It does if you got off on it :)

Well, that all sounded like.... no fun at all, frankly. I wonder how it all turned out, though! Somehow, you must get it on the web so I can see it.

... that, if the film does not get entirely canned during the editing process, it will make it onto the web. At which point (regardless of the personal embarassment involved), I will make the link accessible.

Hmm... and then everyone will know my last name, too. Charming. Oh well.

Yikes!! That doesn't sound too fun at all; I'll be curious ever to see the finished product though :)

Good narrative. Flows very well. Fun to read, too, even though I don't know the personalities involved.

And I'm guessing 'gelid' means shrivelled, or something akin to it?

Just extremely cold... wanton_bliss April 12 2002, 22:57:47 UTC
... my man-meat was more cold than shrivelled.

I think I became a fan of "gelid" via Dean R Koontz, a trashy, highly prolific horror writer whose works are prominantly displayed in all American airport gift shops. I used to buy a Dean R Koontz book every time I flew on a plane (I was in Cali, my parents in Virginia, so that meant every holiday I would go through two Koontz novels). He seems overly fond of using "gelid" to represent otherwordly cold.

Ah. I never went as far as Koontz - Stephen King satisfied my airport horror requirements just fine, so no need to venture further down the K-section. Though I usually brought my own books, it's when you're caught short (thank you, airport delays) that the mass-paperback aisles are required.

... I typically read books that don't lend themselves to being consumed in a single sitting (at least by me). And I don't consider the airplane an ideal set of circumstances for engrossing reading (between the hum, the turbulence, the babies, the interruptions for bad food, and the occasion passenger with an irrational need to engage in some sort of social interaction). Koontz is very easily digested but interesting enough to make the purchase worth it.

King... I don't know. Once you get past "the classics" (the Dead Zone (my favorite, but that's somewhat influenced by the film and my fondness for Christopher Walken), the Stand, the Shining, Firestarter, Christine, etc), he just starts to repeat himself. I think Misery was the most recent book of his that I actually enjoyed. It was Rose Madder that pretty much caused me to drop from the fold.

I enjoyed myself. It was an experience. Novel experiences (be they good or bad) are always a good thing.

Or so I claim.
