Mail, mail, mail

My Subscription Addiction is truly an addicting little thing. It was my thing I decided to do for myself during the Black Friday/Internet Monday weekend (to try out the free or nearly-free reduced box specials that popped up), while I was winnowing away my entire savings on the Christmas presents for everyone in my life. Which is, no worries, what ( Read more... )

What COOL goodies!

I tried to get some Julep polish but the shopping cart never showed me those $1 prices! I'm glad you got one! Gorgeous color!

I just got my first Ipsy box too! RED nailpolish! Can you believe I've never really had a RED before? It'd kind of awesome :) I don't normally do 'normal' shades, but I kind of like the red.

Ack! You should have asked me! I had the same problem for half the day and then figured out how to fix it! (And how it was only an offer on three different colors, and you could only pick one of them, and had to buy it alone by itself.) Next time!

EEEEEEEE. My Ipsy has not arrive yet, but isn't it so much fun? I love the shiny happy toys in the mail effect, especially when I can't wait to try out things.

I do like the things I've gotten from Nature Box for this month, but I like them at $2. I don't like them specifically at getting them for $20 a month, and I don't think their selection is broad enough for me if I did have that kind of money to consider spending on any new boxes in 2014. It was fun for a $2 Black Friday lark, but that was pretty much it.

(The same with Olfactif, Nibblr, and Julep. I wouldn't pay for them, but I will take your free toys for one month deal.)

BUT GRAZE?

I am 100% behind Graze. I think everyone everywhere should have it. I was very on the fence before signing up, and even more on the fence when I was waiting forever to get my invitation, but IT IS SO AMAZING. I have loved every box, and all the selecting/rating system, and the ease, and having them at my desk at work for healthy-yummy afternoon snacks on the occasional days when I need an afternoon pick-me up.

Graze is my only box I've never yet had ever one delivery leave me feeling "Enh" about my delivery.

Huh. Loot Crate looks interesting, but are you allowed to specify what fandoms you're interested in stuff for?

Sadly, no. (I wish! That would be a fan dream!) Mostly they set a theme every month and they fill it with things that fall in that theme. (Here are some pictures of earlier ones -- Ack, my secondary picture is here (http://instagram.com/wanderlustlover) eight rows down, for the Cake/Portal Theme box, too)
