Better late than never? Amusingly, I've been going through this entire months' challenge, walking down them and figuring out if there is anything I'm so deeply in love with I'd like to take with me to share with the girls at the end of this month. Which has made discovery and trying it a little more fun and exciting lately.

I am thinking now about things with ginger AND basil in them together but I think that's a flavour combo I'm going to have to keep thinking about before I actually try it in...something. I mean, it'll be nice on chicken for sure or in rice or in a tomato & some sort of cheese type salad but for like... a not-savoury thing...it's one of those that I will ponder on. I wonder what my flavours book says about them.

Mmmmmm. That would be lovely. I do love ginger when it is cooked and in things. It's lovely to me then.

What is this flavours book you speak of, and does it tell you magical things?

This book! I've been reading it very very slowly but each time I open it to continue reading it is DELIGHTFUL.
