I got into a conversation after the ritual about this, too. Because Texas is so flush with people talking about the world after fire, after the fires of this year. And it has had me thinking about fallow years. And their necessity at times for so many different facets of this world.

I had not thought or heard of the pines though, and that is such a lovely image. I may have to go find related pictures and put them up on the wall over my fire wall now, too.
