I think I hate what it does to people more than me simply stumbling upon an article about it daily. So I don't think I'm that "ignorant" about what is going on in the world. Definitely could use more ( Read more... )

Same damn chicken, indeed. But as a minority and a woman, Settle 4 Biden is my 2020 slogan. Actually Giant Meteor 2020 is my REAL slogan, sooo...

We watched the debate and I laughed several times and said "ohhh" like you did in school when kids would fight? This years is just a whole ass mess honestly.

I don't know how Saturday Night Live can make a skit out of the debate, because how do make it any funnier than what we saw last night?

But yeah, I wish we weren't so polarized. Liberalism and conservatism both have good ideas, why can't we just take the best ideas of both? Instead some puppet master is making us pick sides. If you say something nice about the right, the left loses their shit, and vice versa. Everyone screams for diversity, how about diversity of thought?

In Canada, I'm considered a conservative. But I can't understand how such an advanced country as the US doesn't have universal health care, or more controls on gun sales, so I guess when we move to Missouri that will make me a Marxist or something.

No doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Honestly! The parts of the debate I saw could have been from a SNL skit had it not actually included the real candidates lol.

Hahaha sorry I am so late on this!

EXACTLY! I am so over it lol. Diversity of thought, I agree.

I actually also fall along the lines of being "conservative" but I am so sick of having to explain to people that being "conservative" is not tantamount to narrowmindedness or being MAGA. lol. It's so crazy! I freaking embrace diversity and people in general.

And true about universal healthcare! I work in the field and it is depressing AF!!!!!
