I will tell you that I hate politics but I read the news almost daily for the past decade so I can't really just 'ignore it' to not form an opinion. I think I hate what it does to people more than me simply stumbling upon an article about it daily. So I don't think I'm that "ignorant" about what is going on in the world. Definitely could use more

I think as you get older you realise that everything is political. But these are polarising times and talking about politics in a space where things don't get heated is very hard.

I am desperate for an overhaul of our electoral system. Two party politics is totally outdated.

I don't particualrly care for the two party system either. It's crazy how George Washington basically predicted what the two party system would become. Like you, I don't particularly care for either party. I'm registered to vote with no party affiliation. The only thing that sucks about that is not being able to vote in NY primaries.
