House of 1,000 Corpses (2003) Pretty good for the gore, not much terror. The ending is a little weird.
Last House on the Left (1972 & 2009) I really liked it. I'll definitely keep in mind not to anger

May I suggest some? House (1986) Innocent Blood (1992) An American Werewolf in London (1981) Nosferatu (1922) Shadow of the Vampire (2000 - watch this after Nosferatu, its whole conceit hinges on the film) The Haunting (1963 - this is one of the scariest movies ever made, in my opinion. The remake is complete shite.) The Fog (1980 - also has a shite remake) The Thing (1982 - very close to a perfect film in my opinion) In The Mouth of Madness (1994 - opinions vary on this, but we liked it) Re-Animator (1985) From Beyond (1986) Rise: Blood Hunter (2007 - dumb name, but entertaining film. Nice take on nasty vamps) The Gravedancers (2006 - it's an low-budget film and the last act they have clearly shot their wad of both ideas and money, but the first 2/3rds has some very good stuff.)
