I don't have much to do to tune him out, no sports and not really any other school activities. And my dad lives semi close by (I could walk if I really had to) but he works so much and so late that that wouldn't even do anything. Also, he still doesn't quite get my brother and I, he used to travel so much and work so much that honestly, him not being home actually feels normal (we even joke at my house that whenever something bad happened he was out of town).
