Well, it turns out that the place that I hosted my web site is acting like a penis. I can't retrieve my emails or get into my web site. That is why I will not be checking anything a Misnight@rissmiller-studios.com for a little while now. That will have to wait until I can afford $120 to get a 2 year subscription to my favorite host ( Read more... )

Ah-ha! More reason to convince Lelly to let me host my server by you! I can host riss-miller fo' much less than that! You might even say I could do it for RENT! Yep yep. Just a word of warning - he's a LOUD fucker. And heavy. :-)

Sounds good to me. We still have to bring it to Leslie's attention. I have a dynamic IP address through Comcast. Will that matter?

Doh! Absolutely it would. I need static addresses for my server as it needs to be in the same place all the time. I run my own DNS so the only server out there that knows where my server lives would be the nameserver for whomever is providing internet access to it. Comcast would never do reverse DNS for me and they sure as hell wouldn't allow me to have a static address so I'm afraid I cannot do it. :-(
