either nothing is going on or EVERYTHING is going on

The drama of this last week, y'all. I can't. I'm trying to put things in perspective by thinking, gee, a bunch of people on my friend's list had to get out of the way of Irene, and so my petty little things are just that.

But still, can I tell you all a few things? Do you mind?

My Monday last week started off when I got home to find my (relatively) Read more... )

poll, research, roommate stuff, paperlegends, party

Sorry newish roommate turned out to be crazy. I hope that it doesn't bring about any extra inconveniences for you, but I think living with someone who is like that probably isn't a good thing either.

I'm proud of you for going to your reunion because I would have NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS have gone to mine for the same reasons you mention (I still talk to all the people I like, so why would I want to hang out with the ones I don't). But I'm glad you went and looked good. I'm even more glad you went out and had fun with Kelly though! Sounds like you had a really cool time! :)

Write-in vote!!Ironing: Kill it with fire. I hate ironing.

I know, but I think we're better off in the long run.

The thing about high school was that I knew a lot of people, but was friends with very few. I didn't go to a lot of parties or anything, and most of the people I was friends with I was only friends with on the periphery. I had much more fun at the bar than at the reunion.

I hate ironing so much! The dress I wore to the party the other night can be washed, but I will probably take it and have it cleaned because it has pleats in it that I can't even imagine trying to iron and not burn to pieces.

I'm glad she's gone, tbh. I was done with the drama.

They were SOOOOOOO nice to us. Especially because I know a lot of gay bars have banned bachelorette parties in the past. The emcee loved our bride, though!

Yes, the road trip is less the plot though it will feature in a big scene. I just don't know much about the era. You should have seen me last night pelting my dad with questions about the draft board and how that worked.

Oh hell no to ironing is generally my answer to everything, too, though I'm going to need to do it on this dress. I'm thinking paying someone will be my best option. :D

I DID ALL OF THOSE THINGS.

Angela, it was a hella lot of fun. Except for me wanting to murder the driver and his girlfriend on the way home, it was FANTASTIC. SHE SAID SHE LIKED MY HAIR. ANGELA.

No kidding. I'm at the library, but we'll see how that goes. I don't do much book learnin' these days. ;P

No, really. I may or may not have seen my life flash before my eyes in that car.

She totally slept in my bed. You should be jealous. It was hot.

And Erin looked totally cute, too.

It's okay. In two weeks you can molest us both.

So I have been trying to leave an answer on this entry since three this morning when I read it and I finally have two hands to give a response.

It is good on the roommate thing, less drama is much better. And you are braver than I am I skipped my high school reunion and will probably skip the 20 year one as well. I just don't want to be pulled back into that drama. Love you lots and take care really.

Oh, honey. I'm glad you're enjoying being home with Matthew, though, even if you're busy busy busy.

I think the drama is gone and I'm so glad.

I'm glad that I went, but it was kind of exhausting. I'm just not cut out for that many people.

Love you lots. *hugs*
