The drama of this last week, y'all. I can't. I'm trying to put things in perspective by thinking, gee, a bunch of people on my friend's list had to get out of the way of Irene, and so my petty little things are just that.

O graduated Friday. My mom cried. My dad looked on proudly. My brother and I sat and made sarcastic comments about the principal who said 'ethnicicities' and the teacher who couldn't count out the proper number of students in each row of seats and at least twice backed the entire recessional up trying to figure out where she went wrong.
