Two Reasons Ziva David Is Awesome...

One: Because she could kill me in over one hundred different ways and not even break a sweat (which is actually not that big a deal because I'm kinda skinny and don't really know much about fighting so let me rephrase...) Because she could kill a BADASS BADGUY in over one hundred ways and not even break a sweat!

Two: Because she's fiercely loyal to Tony. And trusts him to do his job and have her back in a way that Kate never really did (imo!).

Okay, so, I suppose I could say you spoiled me, here (or at least, my stalking other people's comments and your replies to them did) BUT

I freaking knew it!!

I have no idea how. It was just that as S1 progressed, and I went from rolling my eyes at Caroline to increasingly liking her, I totally knew she was going to be turned and I totally knew she would kick ass once she was. I thought it might happen in the S1 finale . . . and I'm so psyched now for when it actually does happen in S2.

I've manage to watch most of the first season already. I still don't think very highly of the show, but I understand why you find it so addicting (considering I decided to download all the episodes of the second season that have aired too... I just want to watch VampCaroline!)

I like Matt, a lot. I think I like him BECAUSE he is the normal one of the whole bunch, with his very shitty normal problems. It'll be a shame if they kill him off, but I won't be surprised at all. One of the problems I have with this show is what seems a lack of ability to work with the characters long term. Still, I'll reserve judgment to when I finish watching. I'm glad you like Matt too, though. There's hope for him in fics? ;)

When he defended Caroline to her mom I went nuts. There are three or four scenes from season two that have really stuck with me...

Elena and Damon on her porch at the end of 2.03, the wole section with Katherine, Elena and Damon in 2.01...

AND DAMON DEFENDING CAROLINE TO HER MUM!

I was stunned in the best kinda way by that whole storyline arc.

Two Reasons Why Alaric Saltzman is Amazing...

One: Because he has a badass bromance with Damon and honestly? What is there about that whole scenario that ISN'T amazing?!

Two: Because, despite his history with vampires, he's still very open minded about it all. He's cautious when he needs to be but I honestly get the impression that he trusts Stefan and Damon with not only his own safety (which is somewhat moot because of the ring) but also with Jenna, Elena and Jeremy's safety. He knows intimately, the best and the worst this world has to offer, but he can still see that the brothers are fairly decent creatures...
