I like VM, but I'm not in love with it. It's just another show for me. I don't care about ships or characters or anything.

So, no defriending here, lol. :)

Well, excellent!! And yeah, so far I am not even remotely shipping anything except the four in the flashbacks. And Lilly is the only character I have really ~strong feelings for.

Yeah, I'm going to have to defriend you now...... Kidding.
As much as I might enjoy shows like Breaking Bad I'm glad there are lighter shows to watch like Veronica Mars. I need a break from the bleakness now and again. I love Lily, Wallace and Veronica.
On the topic of Bb, I've just finished the first eight episodes of season five. Love Hank, Marine and Jesse. Hate to infinity Walt.

I love my television shows bleak and harrowing. I'm not sure what this says about me :)

OOOH! You're all caught up in time for THE FINAL EIGHT, OMG! SO NOT REALLY BUT CAN'T WAIT AND I AM CAUGHT IN A PARADOX OF FEEEEEELINGS RIGHT NOW!

Hate to infinity Walt. Just like you're supposed to...!

When I listen to the audio comms for Bb they seem to rationalise Walt's behaviour a bit. Maybe it's just me. Anyway I hate him so much and its odd to hate on a main character so much. I like Jesse much more the second time around and I've always loved Hank and Marie.

Have you tried Sons of Anarchy? Its quite violent and about bikie culture which I'm usually not into but I really like the show. The family like nature of the club and the morality and immorality of the characters behaviour is interesting.

What do you mean by audio comms? My reply probably depends on that. If you mean some kind of audio community inhabited by fans then, well, fans will always be fans. They'll rationalise and excuse 'til the cows come home ( ... )

Lilly is wonderful! And I think it's so funny that Amanda Seyfried is always playing characters that are so holy and pure right now.

I have high hopes that you still are somewhat interested in Duncan and not HEADOVERHEELSOMGLOVEHIMSOMUCH in love with Logan! (This is the HIGHEST level of my fangirl immaturity- I consider it a personal victory if someone else has any negative feelings towards Logan and any positive feelings towards Duncan. And you've already passed a couple of the big episodes that make people fall hard for The Logan.)

No strong thoughts on Weevil? Just asking...

Lilly IS wonderful! I'm not sure I've ever seen Amanda Seyfried in anything else. At least, nothing recent.

And you've already passed a couple of the big episodes that make people fall hard for The Logan. You know what, I actually wondered about that... There were a couple of points in different episodes (where the abuse was outlined and where his parents have featured and where he talked about Lilly) where I wondered if I was 'supposed' to be 'falling for him', but nope. Mostly it just made me zone out! Bad Boy Woobies are a dime a dozen on television, he's no more original or interesting than the rest of them (so far). It's really only his Lilly connection that I'm interested in ( ... )

Well, to be fair, the PCH is a *high school* biker gang. Does that help?

You know I haven't really realised this until now, but I am totally a high school show whore well except for gossip girl, never has there been a show with so many unlikable characters. Having said that, I've never been obsessed with VM. I definitely like it, but not enough to fic it or post reactions or anything. And I think a large part of that for me is that I don't really buy the whole teen investigator thing much, which is somewhat integral to the show, haha. Then again, it is more realistic than vampires ala TVD appearing in Mystic Falls so... Maybe it's more that I don't care about unrealistic teen investigators as much as unrealistic vampires, as opposed to having a problem with it being unrealistic, haha.

I totally read your first line as 'high school whore' the first time around. Which is a VERRRY different proposition...

I've never watched Gossip Girl so I can't comment there. And I think a large part of that for me is that I don't really buy the whole teen investigator thing much, This is my problem with pretty much EVERY teen show I've ever tried to watch. The lack of realism on ALL LEVELS (parental supervision, school, the way teachers are portrayed and treated, the way the actors look) is what had stopped me from getting into ALL the teen shows I've ever tried. And I find that I can get past this so much more easily in supernatural genres because the fact that it appears the kids go to school for about three minutes a month is NOTHING compared to the magic moonstones and blood drinking...

So, the most important piece of information I am taking from this post is that apparently I deserve a tag, which brought an enormous smile to my face ( ... )

The flashbacks are free of flaws! And you're right about some of the other editing. Yikes!! I remember a scene where Veronica and... hmmm, Duncan maybe?? were in a car together, and the scenery in the background looked like someone was holding up a piece of cardboard they'd painted to look like a city scape and were walking back and forth with it to make it look like the car was moving. V. ordinary.

I eagerly await your thoughts and will be sure to inform you when I reach the end of the season. YOU SHIFTY THING YOU.

(Re. your unrelated note: YAY! I eagerly await them also!!)

Now for my own unreleated note: HAVE YOU WATCHED IT YET?? YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

HAVE YOU WATCHED IT YET?? YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

I HAVE NOT, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN AT WORK SINCE 8AM, AND I HAVE TO GO BACK IN A FEW MINUTES, AND OMG, HOW WILL I COPE?

I have downloaded it, though, so THE INSTANT I GET HOME, IT WILL BE WORKING ON GETTING IT INTO MY EYEBALLS.

Cat can't watch it 'til tomorrow (though that's only coz she's out getting WASTED at this moment in time so I'm prepared to bet BIG DOLLARS that she'll attempt a 4am viewing because she won't be able to help herself!!). I told her it was boring and she wasn't missing anything.

I MIGHT HAVE LIED IS ALL I AM SAYING.
