What must have happened, around 3:30 AM, was, when they told us the courtyard area of the bar was closing, I mistakenly abandoned my messenger bag in a drunken haze, and someone else walked off with it. When we emerged onto 4th Street I noticed I felt lighter. I bugged the bouncer, who talked to the cleaning crew. They checked the lost and found. ( Read more... )

I'm pretty sure I would have torched the bar. But my values have changed since the days when I didn't care so much about my toys.

The worst part about not having an iPod is when songs get stuck in my head and I can't get them out by blocking them with something else.

Like yesterday I was waiting at the DMV and Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" came on. And I suffered the aftermath for hours.

I mean, yay for new friends and all, but still - ugh.

I wish you and Keith could have come to visit while I've been in Boston! I'm leaving next Monday, though. :(
