Pup was keeping his territory free of kitten-y invaders.
At the moment, that included Walter's bed and nothing else. Even Cuddles had fallen in with the invaders and was sleeping on Al's bed with a small horde of his fellow felines.

Pup continued to pace the mattress, growling ferociously at any kitten that dared set paw on his Walter's bed.
That is until he heard the sound of a key in the lock and went into superwag mode.
