aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh this post made me tear up. i agree with everything you have to say about paraguay's effort, they made me so damn proud. when cardozo's shot went in the net to put us through to the quarters i was fucking sobbing and gasping like i was dying. my dad called me straight away from paraguay so i could hear all the fireworks and people going nutso. <3

demichelis love. klose too. and van bommel, haha. i need bayern back, stat.

the third place game was definitely much better than the final. the netherlands played such ugly football (i don't dislike them or anything, tbh) and to have to wait over 100 minutes before the ball actually went in the net was bruutal. also, i'm tired of hearing about the "but it was offside!" complaints from some dutch fans. blah blah blah.

ilu for this picspam. did i say that already? :D

kjldfs;ldfl, just thinking about that game makes me depressed, lol what is my life. It was the most emotional game for me, hands down. My commentators and family were saying the amount of energy they have was crazy, and that they would tire soon--but they just didn't. they kept on fighting until the end, and oh god by the end i was crying so much. it was a weird mixture of being incredibly proud of them, but at the same time feeling ridiculously bitter than their hard work all came to ultimately nothing, and they really deserved much more than they got. IDK. I am also proud of the supporters for not being overly obnoxious about the offside decision, and the penalty infringement. Christ on a bike, imagine if Spain had lost because of decisions like that. LOL. They fans would have been out for blood.

omg you follow Bayern, too? ilu, gurl <3 ( ... )
