Lately I've been thinking about the fact that the Asian Entertainment Industry seems to be relatively small. Or maybe its more that there are only a hand full of truly popular actors and actresses at any given time. Or, to be more correct, people tend to have their moments in the sun, and that means they work with the same people over and over

Japan
Toda Erika and Nagase Tomoya - If only for the fact that I watched the Unubore Deka episode with her in it and totally resented the fact that they nearly kissed and didn't (also the fact that the ep totally wasted her).
Nagase Tomoya and Nakama Yukie - Because I watched IWGP and the beginning of My Boss, My Hero at the same time as Gokusen and might have shipped Yankumi with either of his characters and written mental fanfic with them as a high school or vacation fling. (Before I edited that sentence for clarity it sounded like I shipped them as a threesome or love triangle and now thinking about it, I'm writing mental fanfic again)
Nakama Yukie and Abe Hiroshi - I remember them as having really great chemistry in Trick.
Korea
Lee Seung Gi and Shin Min Ah - They were super adorable in Gumiho together and all the little fantasy sequences they had made me want to see them do other types of shows together.

Or Shin Min Ah and Won Bin. Their CF's are so cute together, I'd love to see them in an epic drama.
Eita and Ueno Juri in a GOOD drama. I had such high hopes for their pairing in Sunao ni Narenakute but it didn't deliver. I love their chemistry together.
Ueno Juri and Abe Hiroshi!

Eita and Ueno Juri keep working together, but they are either not paired together or the writer just doesn't get it right. They have great chemistry, though.

Taiwanese Wu Zun and Ella because I loved the Taiwanese Hana-Kimi and for Korean... Moon Geun Young and Im Soo Jung as sisters again, maybe? Moon Geun Young and the girl from Playful Kiss (I forgot her name orz) as kickass girls in a drama. Idek. XD

Moon Geun Young and Im Soo Jung were wonderful as sisters. I'd love for them to do another film together, I think.

A Tale of Two Sisters continues to be one of my favorite Korean movies ever, and ultimately my favorite horror/suspense movie. ♥ I remember before I'd watched it, my stepsister told me that when she watched it, she said that I looked like the 'evil' sister, and when I watched it with my cousins, they said that my older sister looked like the younger one. :'D

A Tale of Two Sisters is also one of my favorite films!

Another thoughtful question. I'll have to ponder it :)

I'm still pondering the question myself. The more I think about it, the more people I want to see work together - for the first time or again.
