Actors and Actresses You Want to See Work Together - For the First Time Or Again

May 10, 2011 23:06

Lately I've been thinking about the fact that the Asian Entertainment Industry seems to be relatively small. Or maybe its more that there are only a hand full of truly popular actors and actresses at any given time. Or, to be more correct, people tend to have their moments in the sun, and that means they work with the same people over and over ( Read more... )

For Japanese I just want to see Suzuka with someone awesome and not as a backseat character a la that Samurai drama w/ Miura Haruma. I'd say MatsuKen but he's married now so it'd feel weird to ship them (notice the issue isn't about their ages harharhar).

Taiwanese Wu Zun and Ella because I loved the Taiwanese Hana-Kimi and for Korean... Moon Geun Young and Im Soo Jung as sisters again, maybe? Moon Geun Young and the girl from Playful Kiss (I forgot her name orz) as kickass girls in a drama. Idek. XD

Suzuka turns 18 this year - that's legal in most countries. I would love for her and MatsuKen to work together again. They've worked together twice and each time have played well off each other. I'd love for them to do another project together. (Yes, she was wasted in the Samurai drama - I think she's been wasted in her last few projects, but that may be because she was finishing high school.)

Moon Geun Young and Im Soo Jung were wonderful as sisters. I'd love for them to do another film together, I think.

That's true! But if she should work with anyone that is as awesome as she is /dead. I actually haven't seen Kamui Gaiden because I'm not too fond of historic movies and such - how were they in that? (She was! Although I must be fail because when it comes to dramas, that's her only latest one, right?)

A Tale of Two Sisters continues to be one of my favorite Korean movies ever, and ultimately my favorite horror/suspense movie. ♥ I remember before I'd watched it, my stepsister told me that when she watched it, she said that I looked like the 'evil' sister, and when I watched it with my cousins, they said that my older sister looked like the younger one. :'D

I skimmed Kamui Gaiden - they were both very good in that. Their relationship was very sweet. (That was her last drama. She did nothing in 2010, most likely because she was busy with school. And, she has one movie coming up in 2011.)

A Tale of Two Sisters is also one of my favorite films!

I'll have to try to watch their parts. :'D (Yeah, she'll be a third year now, I think? She's my favorite actress, I should know more orz. Is the upcoming movie the omnibus one? Or is it one I totally missed?)

Isn't it amazing? sdjfhs

She'll be 18 in August, so I'm guessing she'll have graduated high school. Her last project is called Kamifusen and came out in March. I think she has a tv movie coming out soon.

It is a great film. The American remake was a disaster, but the Korean film was perfect.

... That's true! Man I really am fail. XD Idk if I've heard about Kamifusen but I'll look it all up anyway. Do you follow her blog? Obviously I don't read Japanese but her pictures are always so cute. :'3

I didn't even bother with the remake. Hollywood always botches up Asian movies when they try to remake them. Chris Colombus signed the rights to remake Hello Ghost which stars Cha Tae-Hyun and I about died. Noooooooo.

No, I don't follow her blog. I don't follow any celeb blogs, because I just don't have the time and most rarely update.

I hate Hollywood remakes of Asian films. So not looking forward to the Hello Ghost remake.
