Yup, and my mom was right there with 'em - and she's for gay clergy.
Personally, I think the tornado was brought on my Brett Farve.

But I'm glad to hear that the gallery made it through unscathed. If it hadn't, that would have been the icing on the cake, eh?

I'm glad to hear that your mom is OK. I forgot that she works for the bishop.

I talked to her tonight. It was sort of funny - she said people were getting text messages that the roof had come off the convention center, and they would look up at the roof and go, "no, it's definitely still there..." Kind of exciting, I guess, but nothing too serious.

Gah, Ariana was home alone and I was over near the capital in St. Paul at a seminar! We live at 34rd and Bloomington so it was too close for comfort to me.

And I work a block from the Electric Fetus but wasn't there of course. Tornados haunt me (remember the near miss with one in 2006 - MI).

Glad the gallery and the rest of the neighborhood made it - it could have been a huge mess with all of those brownstones in Stevens...

Kind of amazing that no one was seriously injured by the storm.

Definately, by the looks of the trees we saw - we walked over to Portland and 35th-ish because Ariana was worried about her Youth Farm garden that is on the corner over there - massive trees down.

Even by blowing glass at the least.
