TV Links has helped me rediscover my love of anime. Through it, I'm finally getting to finish watching Kyou Kara Maou, which brings me great boy-harem joy. Watch Ouran High School Host Club.

Then watch The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

And if you don't mind boobies, watch Girls Bravo.

XD Your taste is impeccable; we watched both Ouran and Haruhi this past year in anime club. (And worked both into our Masquerade skit for con.)

Will definitely investigate Girls Bravo, though.

Torchwood would be a better show if the writers would give Gwen some goddamn credit. SHE'S A POLICEWOMAN. SHE IS NOT AN IDIOT. STOP WRITING HER LIKE ONE.

*ahem* Yeah. Gets me a liiiittle annoyed.

Also, is it just me, or have they written her as the most Mary Sue character ever to Mary a Sue? (Granted, I've only seen the first two eps, but the following is based on my observations so far.)

- She is so much more ZOMG COMPASSIONATE WHAT IS WRONG WITH Y'ALL than the other characters.
- She is cute but not stunning and has a cute but not stunning boyfriend, is clumsy but ZOMG ERNEST, and a big defender of the ZOMG LAW I WUZ A COP YOU KNOW, which is more than can be said for the other Torchies, because they have all clearly been working with ZOMG ALIEN STUFF for too long and are not human enough any more. Gwen has clearly been sent from the depths of the Impossible Planet above to school them all back into being human and awesome.
- She got her awesome SpecOps Torchwood job, but because she can't tell anyone about wtf she does, they are butthurt and she is all *WAH PUPPY EYES ( ... )
