new car!
AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I have my car! It's so pretty and beautiful and MINE. *happy sigh*
Current name I'm tossing around is "Frankie" as in "Old Blue Eyes" since it's, you know, blue. BLUE. And the prettiest shade of blue EVER. Other than that, I just have "bluebonnet" from incredulity but I've already vetoed. No.
I've never driven a car this new before. It had 12 miles on it two hours ago when I drove it off the lot, now it's got 54 (between the dealership, my parent's house, my house, driving Whits around in it for a bit...) Eep! New car! After two hours of sitting around in the dealership waiting for the financing guy, and the calls to USAA (who came back with 11.25% on the loan, which Dad and I scoffed at...). So much sitting. Gah.
But worth every second, because it's sitting in my driveway, and it's really happy. Sigh.
