Thanks! Sorry it took so long to reply, my connectivity to the internet is pretty sparse these days. :D

It seems I missed this story when you posted, so I'm forced to conclude that I am completely lame. That said, onto the feedback!

"Wild crashing through the underbrush, nothing like what he was taught and he knows Dean’ll give him crap for it later, for tripping on the tree root, leaping straight into a bush, and the harsh, gulping pants[...]"

I really like this beginning segment. It creates such a frantic scene right off in my mind, which I hope is what you were going for. I especially loved the line describing what Sam sees in the deer woman's face; Very touching.

The banter between the boys is adorable. This?:

"“What’s a patronus?” Dean asks, and Sam wonders if he can pretend he passed out and instead Sam just says, “help me up.”...so cute. :) I notice the scenes with just the boys have sort of a softer, slower feel to them than the rest of the story. The urgency is still there, but it has a more...how do I say this exactly..."comfortable" feel? Like, even though they're focused on the case, that moment alone together ( ... )

You leave the best feedback, seriously. Also, I'm pretty sure no one saw this fic, I'm kind of surprised you did. :p

On a "the other story I posted" note, did you see that there's an EPILOGUE? :D

Back to this one, I was so ridiculously nervous about posting it, what with not being Native American and all and I'm kind of really glad you don't think the whole thing is a lame and slightly insulting. And as far as this particular brand of the legend goes, you don't have much to worry about it you're not a rapist. :D

In conclusion: You're awesome. :D

Hi. I enjoyed this a lot. It's like the second SPN fic I've read. I keep missing the show when it comes on tv, but I can't help poking around the internet. I'm from Oklahoma so I clicked this fic and I'm glad I did.

Do you think we’ll see a tornado?” Dean picked up the newspaper again, flipping through the first section, probably looking for natural disasters.

“Do I look like Helen Hunt to you?”

Loved that exchange, it made me giggle. : )

That's actually the only bit I had written for the longest time, even before I knew what the whole story would be about. :D

I just moved to Oklahoma so I felt a little awkward writing about it, so I'm glad it worked for native Oklahomans. Thanks for reading and feedbacking! :D

Also, if you're looking for more fic, I have a del.icio.us account and lots and lots of links.

That's cool! I write from a sentence sometimes, I think that every once in awhile those are some of the best.

I hope you enjoy Okie state! I just had to move away, and I miss it horribly.

Thank you for the link, I shall definitely have to look through that. I haven't even watched a whole episode yet, but I think I'm already quite taken with Dean. : )

You should definitely look into watching more of the show. The first season's on sale and the second will be soon. :D I'm quite taken with both of them. They're so angsty and amazing!

I'm enjoying it so far, I'm in OKC and I love the feel of the city, especially where I am, really close to downtown. But I'm still a Texas girl at heart. :p

this was totally a good story. (and we've talked about this some... so hey that means it's so good.) And can I say?

"double tall caramel macchiato."

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! You put it in the correct order! ... sorry... the barista in me cheered...
Good job!

We talked about this? When?

Haha! I've never been a barista, but I've actually had a couple of them compliment my ordering skillz. One of them asked which Starbucks I worked at and I had to tell her I haven't ever, I just spend lots and lots and LOTS of time in them. :)

Uhhhh one day when we had that long ass chat. Normally partners and Starbucks regulars are the only people who order right.... and even then.... YAY! You like Sbux! you're keeping me employed. I think I love you for that.

Man, before I moved here from Texas the Starbucks people knew my name. I have, in the past, baked a cake for my favorite barista as he was leaving to go to another Starbucks. :)
