This is where the magic happens.
Most people will come in through Milliways and exit out the cargo bay to go have some fun. But some might need to take detours. And of course, some people live here.
Some people work here, too -- especially if they're working on repairs.
(It's not often you get to do things like this, being the easily recognizable empress of a planet.)
She's looking around the cargo bay with interest, hand on her hip.

The kitchen's a cozy space, possibly the coziest on the ship. There's a sturdy, slightly battered dinner table big enough for the whole crew, and a smaller round table with a few chairs off in a corner; one metal door leads to a storage locker, and wide stairs at the far end of the room pass through an open doorway up into an elevated hall. Everything is efficient for a small space: the sink, the small stove, the plethora of metal cabinets set into the wall. The walls have tiny flowers hand-stenciled on them, twining up the support pillars.

"--Hey," she says. "Inara, right?"

Her smile brightens even more as she recognizes the woman.
"Yes, and you are Plourr, if I remember correct. It's a pleasure to see you again."

"I'm guessing this is the kitchen?"

With great and tour-guidely dignity, of course.

"Yes, this is the kitchen. We used to be stuck with mostly protein of various shades - praise Buddha for Milliways."

Or she saw River reflected in something shiny.
Either way.
"It looks very -- homey," she decides.

"There's fruit."
Milliways WINS in this way.

She smiles at River's comment. Milliways absolutely wins.
"Would you care for anything? Something to drink or eat?"

"Well, it was lovely to see you again, and I hope we will in the future. Enjoy your tour. You are in good hands."

...It may not be accident that there's half a room between them when she says that.
And any hints of an unrepentant grin are surely just Plourr's imagination.

She's following, though!
