Everyone searches out solitude for their own reasons. Be it for the silence, for the comfort, for the sake of daydreaming, because you can drop your guard when no one's around, or whatever other reason. For Sebastian, solitude meant peace, space to think, and a way to get lost in his own world. That was why he'd sought out the quiet, empty rooftop of the hotel. That was why he now laid, stretched out on his back, starring up at the stars in the dark sky, even though the stars in the city were nothing compared to what they could be.

He smiled softly as he found himself musing that, though he'd come here to be alone, he felt more connected than ever. Stars did that to him. Stars that were the same, all the world over, connecting everyone in one bright, beautiful thread.

After quite awhile, Sebastian was drawn from his thoughts by the sound of the door opening, and footsteps on the cement roofing. The footsteps did not approach him, but were instead going in the opposite direction, and Sebastian's curiosity got the best of him. He slowly raised himself into a sitting position, before standing, and slowly making his way to the other end of the rooftop.

It wasn't too dark to recognize the form leaning out over the railing, fingers tightly gripping the metal bar. Theo. Sebastian slowed his footsteps, giving Theo time to adjust himself if he so wished. The only real change that Sebastian noticed was that the other man seemed to stand up a bit straighter, and made an attempted to even out his breathing.

"Hey." He moved to stand next to Theo, his back to the railing.

The other singer glanced up at him for a moment, then nodded slightly. "Hey.."

"What's up?" It was evident in the way he said it that he really meant 'what's wrong?'.

Theo turned his gaze back out towards the city. "Nothing."

"You're a bad liar."

He watched as the corners of Theo's mouth twitched slightly into a brief smile. "Yeah."

"Gonna tell me the truth, then?" Sebastian gently laid his hand over Theo's on the railing, and felt it's grip slowly loosen.

Theo shook his head, insinuating a negative response, but said nothing. He shifted his gaze slightly, lingering for a moment on Sebastian's hand over his own. When he noticed that the other man was watching him, he quickly removed his hand from the contact, fiddling almost-absentmindedly with the thin tassels of his scarf.

After a long moment of silence Sebastian sighed quietly, not from frustration, just because. "Please?"

Theo seemed to mull the request over for a moment before relaxing his posture a bit more, almost in a defeated sort of way. "I.. I keep forgetting my words. Every rehearsal so far this week.. and it's not even always the same line," he finally admits, refusing to look at the curly haired man standing before him. "I'm scared", he added softly, his voice barely a whisper. He shivered, and pulled the scarf a little bit tighter around himself, though it wasn't cold out at all.

Sebastian's eyes saddened as he watched the pianist's body drop into such a vulnerable stance. "You shouldn't be scared."

Theo looked up slowly, and Sebastian could tell that the other singer is honestly worried. "Why not?"

"Because you won't forget them once you're on stage."

"You don't know that," Theo replied, looking away again.

Sebastian smiled softly, "I do know that."

"How?"

Sebastian reached out, gently turning Theo's face back towards his so that their eyes met. "Because I know everything."

A smirk graced the pianists features for a moment before the melancholy replaced it again. "Right."

"No, really." He didn't remove his hand from Theo's face, but he kept his grip lose, in case the other man chose to pull away. "Just like I knew we'd both make it through the past two weeks. You remember me telling you that before each show?" Theo gave a small nod when Sebastian paused, staring at him. "Well, I was right wasn't I?" Again, Theo nodded. "So why do you think I'm wrong this time?"

Theo didn't respond, too preoccupied by the proximity between himself and Sebastian, too busy remembering how to breathe. Not that he needed to breathe, because suddenly Sebastian's lips were against his own, their lips moving together in a gentle harmony.

Sebastian pulled back first, happy that Theo leaned in, trying to keep the contact.

A genuine smile broke out across Theo's face when he saw the way Sebastian was looking at him, and he leaned forwards, initiating a second kiss. A second kiss that was much deeper than the first, but still very much on the tender end of the scale. The kiss broke off eventually, and Sebastian pulled Theo closer against his chest, hugging him. His hand slid up Theo's back to gently play with the threads hanging from his scarf. "Believe me?"

Theo nodded, and gave a content sigh. "I guess so."

Sebastian pressed a kiss to the other man's forehead. "Good"
