Spending Spree

I finally got my prosperity cheque yesterday (not fair that Calgary got it ahead of everyone else!), and now I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

I could be a good girl and save it for the furniture that I will be needing fairly soon.

Or, I could splurge and buy me a shirt. :D ( Read more... )

You can't buy the Serenity Buddha shirt because I already did and you don't want to be a copy cat. Nyah.

Of course, I've only bought it in theory because they still haven't shipped it . . .

Oh and I voted "keep the money" because I don't like the mime shirt.

:-P

You are SUCH a troublemaker.
And I saw that shirt first, no fair! What colour did you get?

Oh, and my other problem with the Buddha shirt (other than you beating me to it) is that by the time I add in shipping and sizing, the cost would come to $33 US which is like $5 gabillion Canadian dollars (aka almost $40 CDN).

Hmmm I'm a big believer in saving some (RRSP), putting some aside for something big (furniture or condo fees) AND treating myself too.

I think the Wealthy Barber says put away 10% but I know he also says pay yourself first which really means BUY A SHIRT *L*

We're special, like Alaska. But it's a "one-time" cheque so that we don't get our hopes up for another one.

Plus the fancy Canadian spelling where we selectively spell things the British way, or the American way. (colour instead of color, but we use tire instead of tyre)
