Have been too busy stuffing myself silly with many new year and birthday meals to pop on and wish you all a happy year of the rat.

Migraines are getting better, which is good. Am spending the weekend with various friends, which is even better.

Last night I edited some of my sister's Harry Potter fan fic and taught her how to write dialogue. I can't believe I've finally been sucked into fan fic. It's all her fault! *pouts*

My big accomplishment for the day - I beat my siblings, Dad and Step-mom in Texas Hold 'Em. Yeah baby!

So I ended up doing two loads of laundry, taking my vacuum cleaner out of the box and putting it together, and then doing a bit of vacuuming in the living room, all before having to leave for brunch. Go me ( Read more... )

So I decided to vacuum instead, for a couple of reasons.

1. I bought a new vacuum on Friday after work and I need to break it in and make sure I want to keep it.

2. Revenge against my downstairs neighbours who like to make noise at night. :D

I'm working on two or three projects all at the same time and switching back and forth every ten minutes or so is starting to make my brain fracture.

So. April 19. All the snow's melted and it started to rain yesterday. Great, this means all the winter dirt will get washed away!

NOT.

Overnight it started to snow. And, at almost Noon, it's STILL snowing. It's FREAKING APRIL. Mother Nature must be pissed at us or something.
