Holy nth Metal

TV Guide magazine has a first look at Smallville's Hawkman and talks to Michael Shanks. It really looks "right". What encourages me is the attention to detail, both in costume and storyline. That's JSA Hawkman all right, complete with wacky Golden Age history.

(I never thought I'd see those three tags together on the same post and be *related*.)

I'm with you - seeing those tags together is just weird! You know, as lousy as Smallville can be, sometimes they get it. Like the Wonder Twins episode. They were still horribly goofy as ever, but the episode was surprisingly one of the better ones so far, I think. And being a Stargate fan, I can tell you that if anyone can pull this off, it's Shanks. But then, you know this, don't you? ;) The man's typecast now... playing another superheroic archaeologist. lol
