TV Guide magazine has a first look at Smallville's Hawkman and talks to Michael Shanks. It really looks "right". What encourages me is the attention to detail, both in costume and storyline. That's JSA Hawkman all right, complete with wacky Golden Age history.

I made the mistake of reading Newsarama's "One Year Later" panel from Wondercon. Most of the focus was on the identity in the background of the Infinite Crisis #5 cover. I saw the Batman "Hush" action figures my flist has been raving over at Anime Pavillion today. I can understand the appeal, even if I haven't read the arc yet. They're quite pretty. I liked the Catwoman one. I also saw a Batman & Batgirl smaller set I quite liked, along with a seperate Catwoman model.
