I've never seen the Parent Trap movies, but have a paperback copy of the English translation of the book 'Lisa and Lottie' that dates to my elementary school days. I'm kind of surprised there's a lot of social commentary on what seemed like a fairly straightforward story.

Holy cats... If I hadn't spent the last fifteen years trying to actively avoid Disney hokum, I know that challenge would be unbearably hilarious.

I did contribute the one idea I could think of, with the one Disney subject I'm fond of.

(Let me know if there are any clean responses with Logan or Hank encountering Disney's Beast. I only saw that movie once when I was a kid, but the fairytale is familiar enough, anyway--and you know how I am about ferals. *g*)
