They released 'em remastered again? I bought the last batch years ago when they claimed it was the "75th anniversary" edition. I'm not sure who does the math over there, but I wasn't complaining. They looked great! They cleaned 'em up without changing the color. I have to agree with Timm as well - darker is better on those classics. I'm curious to know how bright or dark they were originally though, when the film was new. I guess this new version is for the higher def TVs so they won't look quite so fuzzy.

I know they released them as part of the mammoth Superman movie set. I'm curious myself how they were supposed to look originally -- or even how they looked up on big screen. It's hard to remember a time they had something besides previews before movies. Of course now it's supplemented by interminable ads.

They did make it into that big 14-disc set. I bought that version too. lol. But this was before that. It was a one disc set.
