Interesting. I'd still argue that the problem with X3 was trying to do the Cure and Dark Phoenix plots and not having time to give either one the proper attention.

The DC calendar is very cool.

Oh I completely agree with you. They really tried to smush too much into one movie. (And deleted a lot of what was fun for me about the previous two movies.) I had similar issues with "Superman Returns" -- the Luthor & Superman returning/Lois/ conflict felt like two different stories that just didn't meld very well.

God, I'm pretty sure that guy's book would make me stabbity. The guy doesn't seem to know much about comics OR film (not surprised he's a Variety writer.
