I haven't yet picked up the "Da Vinci's Inquest" season 1 dvds from Acorn Media,

I have season 1 DVD's but my dad got them in Canada. Are those the same as these? (I haven't actually watched them yet.) But if they are, I can watch an episode and see.

I cannot wait for City Hall to show up around where I am. ( I still have 12 episodes of DI saved in my tivo, but I will watch them this summer.)

No, those were released by Alliance Atlantis way way back in 2003, so theoretically they'll be uncut. They didn't include any extras from what I understand. Acorn then released a set earlier this year with the hopes they'll do more seasons. The Acorn set may/may not include additional interviews. I've Netflixed the Acorn set so I can see.

City Hall is a roller coaster ride. And Dean Marshall looks so fine.

Upon further investigation - http://www.amazon.com/Da-Vincis-Inquest-Season-1/dp/B000LP5CYI/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-8067576-5785458?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1180991099&sr=8-1

People say the Acron version is censored. I have the other version - the Alliance one.

I've got the Alliance one too. I hope the reports at amazon.com are wrong about the censoring, 'cause that would stop me from buying other seasons of Da Vinci's (if they end up producing them).

"Intelligence" is going up against "Heroes"?! *headdesk* Oh, CBC, why?

Hope that rumour about Acorn Media's DVI dvds is wrong, 'cause that's kind of insane. Maybe an email directly to Acorn Media could sort it out?

I sent off an email to Acorn Media customer service asking them about the censoring rumour. We'll see if they respond.
