Da Vinci's & Intelligence news
I received another email/news update from Haddock Entertainment. The main Da Vinci's Inquest website is back online, complete with a lot of video and other stuff. There's a trailer for the new tv movie "Quality of Life". The tag reads Summer 2007 for its airdate.
"Intelligence" will start repeating Fridays on CBC starting June 8th with the pilot movie airing on June 7th. Season 2 arrives in October 2007 and it's switching to Monday nights at 9pm. Talk about a fun (/sarc) timeslot to dive into. This SPN fan offers sympathy. I'm just glad I didn't have to choose between that and "Heroes".
I haven't yet picked up the "Da Vinci's Inquest" season 1 dvds from Acorn Media, but I'm hearing a troubling idea that they might have edited the episodes from their Canadian version. I'm a little surprised actually, since they release the "Slings & Arrows" dvds too and those are hardly for children's ears, shall we say. Maybe they wanted to keep it in line with the syndicated version? I wish I knew one way or another, so I could make a final decision on buying the set. I actually contacted TVshowsondvd.com, figuring they might be able to get an answer. (Damn that was a fast response. They haven't seen the set, so they don't know. Drat.)
