Blood Ties update

andpuff has announced we have a premiere date for the "Blood Ties" tv series. Lifetime has apparently committed to a 2 hour premiere on March 11th. The pilot is an adaptation of the first book in the series "Blood Price".

I dvred the opening of "Dresden Files", but will watch it later. Will it make sense for those of us who haven't read the books?

I've never read the books and Dresden Files worked ok for me.
