I have decided to commence reading what is currently the 3rd biggest book on my list (assuming you break up the works of W.S. into three parts, as my set is -- Comedies, Tragedies, Histories and Poems): MI6 by Stephan Doril. Tonight I finished reading Vladimir Nabokov's "Pale Fire". It was a really good read narrated by a fairly memorable character. The basic outlay of the book is a 999-line poem in four cantos, followed by a commentary. Tonight I went to my writing class and read my second writing. Overall, it seemed to elicit some good reactions. The audience seemed to enjoy it, so score one for me. Tonight I finished reading James Bamford's follow-up to his popular book "The Puzzle Palace", entitled "Body of Secrets". It's all about the NSA and various points in its history -- WW II, Vietnam, the Cold War, etc. Surprisingly I found it to be a pretty interesting read, a but gut-wrenching and a bit infuriating at times.
