The sirens start without warning, blazing for several minutes before the headmaster's voice comes onto the intercom.]
All students and staff evacuate into the quad. Staff, make sure all the students are present and accounted for!
[Those are his only instructions

And when they're all there, he's just standing there in the cold, trying to take a headcount as his body rapidly loses heat. Great. Just great.
It's at times like these that Mike wonders if he's really getting too old for this.]

No. For goodness sake, she must stay calm this time. The last time she reacted without thinking in blind fear, she nearly got herself killed. Not this time. After a long deep breath, Jane puts on her boots and jacket, grabs the suitcase she's prepared and left beside her bed just in case of an emergency, and heads off.
The headmaster said quad, did he not? She certainly hopes she heard him right and makes her way over to it, keeping an eye out for Rapunzel or Miss Lottie along the way.
She reels back in alarm when she comes across, rather than her blonde elder friends, a... oh goodness, just what is this person?]
Oh..!! Um..
[Is the mist here? Is it causing her to see things, because she swears the man before her looks like a turtle.]

He raises an eye ridge at her, his voice still rough no matter how he tries to soften it.]
You okay, kid?

Um... y-yes, I...
[Turns her glance downwards, realizing how much she's been staring.]
I'm sorry! I didn't mean to stare...

She races out, grabbing a lightweight jacket out into the quad. Her eyes scan the crowd, trying to remember the names of the students she's met and the staff.]

The blonde doesn't seem worried in the least, just miserable due to the grogginess and the cold.]
Where's th'firah, Aqua? [She can sense that her friend isn't exactly at ease.]

The alarm, do you think it's a drill or not?...[And since Lottie is cold, she'll take off her jacket and offer it to her.]

When's th'last time we were evacuated int'a th'quad whenevah there was real dangah?

Donatello had been awake (working, of course) when the alarm went off, so at least he isn't groggy and he is gripping a thermos full of hot coffee while in the crowd of evacuees. Unfortunately, he's the only turtle with a weapon that requires two hands, so he cannot enjoy the coffee at all. All his frazzled senses are on high alert, each muscle tense and ready to drop the thermos and grab his bo staff at a moment's notice.
Oh, and on top of that, it's really cold. It's possible that could affect him if he needs to fight.
This is not going to be pleasant.]

But at least she's been in enough sticky situations to think a bit more rationally in this sort of sudden situation. As such, she made sure to grab boots, a coat, and a thick blanket.
Frankly, she was going to use the blanket herself, but she sees someone who probably needs it way more than she does. Thermoses do jack shit in near-freezing conditions.
She walks over towards him, extending the blanket.]
Cold?
[But more importantly...] Do you know what's going on?

No, I can't say I do. [He looks up at the sky, frowning in calculation.] I didn't see anything out of the ordinary when we got out, but the threat may be further away. [He looks down again, giving her a warm smile and offering the thermos.] Coffee? You look frazzled.
[Yes, he realizes that the last time he really talked to her was when he was having his freak out. In retrospect, it's really embarrassing, but he really wasn't in his right mind at the time.]

Neither did I. I heard that blonde lady on the way out say something about a "drill", so I'm sort of really confused. I thought schools only did drills during school hours.
[She makes a face at the thermos.] Er, thanks. But I don't drink coffee; it's too bitter.
[She realizes that too. But right now? She's just happy to see Don in better spirits.]

Right now, he's huddling under his blanket, sneezing. The sitar's off to his side]

You doin' okay there?
[He's a guard. He should check up on the welfare of his charges.]

Yeah, I remember now--saw you on the comms. I'll let you in first once we've got the all-clear. Looks like you could use it.

[Dark Leonardo stomps his way over to the Quad. He's in an extremely bad mood so expect at least some growling if you bother him.]

It's nothin' more than a drill; there's no need t'be worried or anythin'. We all jus' got t'sit out here until Mistah Mickey thinks we're cold enough.

Great. If it's not my idiot brother waking me up it's the idiot mouse.

[She shifts and wraps her arms around herself, a shiver running down her spine. It is ridiculously cold for a southerner.]
I'm sorry Mistah Mickey isn't lettin' you sleep, though.
