More than 100 million Americans are being warned to stay indoors if possible as high temperatures and humidity settle in over states stretching through parts of the Gulf coast to the Great Lakes and east to the Carolinas. From a report: The National Weather Service

I can't even imagine being in such hot temps. Its been nice here at 20C but there was a breeze

Yes, it's been quite trying. A lull for a few days and then broiling again soon. I suppose I must mow the lawn on Monday, otherwise it's a long stretch of heat and/or rain.

I think I'd probably like ~Britain better.

The winters are cold it gets to below zero.

I know that Europe has been hit with some very severe cold snaps in the recent past. But it is normal that winters get below zero farenheit where I live. Even so, I have thought of moving further north. Less people up there, and global warming will raise the temps a bit.
