I am tired. So damn tired.

This has been happening for awhile now. From the end of November '07, to be precise. Fever and asthma have been a part of my normal routine.. Just when I thought I was alright for a few days, I'd get fever again. It was horrible!

Finally switched to homeopathy last week. The results are slow, but at least I haven't had a ( Read more... )

I think we (as in, our generation) lead totally unhealthy lifestyles!

That means you have to revamp your lifestyle to, ie, find something that interests you.

I feel the same way on a lot of days. I feel totally bored with life. Office work, home work, sleep, and a cycle like that. I'm tired of feeling like that and that's why I want to cultivate some good habits apart from work - yoga/salsa, etc.

Wow, i am going through the exact same thing. For the last 1 month or so i have been perennially sick with one thing or the other (I have never been the sick kind, so this is unusual). Planning to do the exact things you have listed albeit i am planning to also get back to long distance running or join a gym.

I think you will find that the yoga can help with so much of this, as well as trying to get to bed earlier. Establishing a set routine (as well as making sure there are no distractions in your bedroom, like TV, mobile telephones, etc.) can really help with sleep. Also as a natural aid to sleep, pure lavender oil, just a drop or two used on your bed linen promotes relaxation of the brain. If you bathe at night, a few drops in the bath water is excellent as well.

The tips about lavender oil is something I haven't heard before. Sounds very comfy. Thanks!

It's what we call an old wives' tale here, but it has been proven scientifically that it triggers something in the brain that calms and relaxes, so the old wives knew something in the old days! Aside from the fact that I really do like the scent of lavender anyway. Oh yes, a little of the oil put on a mosquito bite can help calm the itching feeling as well and it has mild antiseptic properties.

Well i guess its more to do with our minds! The day when i feel the happiest is the day when i look good, energetic and radiating energy, chit chatting here and there and bottom line lively! But if i am not i feel sick, exhausted, wanna change my routine, feverish, cold, silent and bogged down.. The best remedy i guess will be to try and be happy every moment( easier said than done though) I am not happy! i am trying to be happy myself..( so this comment can be taken as one of those unrealistic advices:D)

All this is true, but the other way around is also possible - falling sick too often can make you feel depressed...

most nights i would not be able to sleep. if i did manage to fall asleep, i would invariably wake up at around 3 and sit up for the rest of the night. in the morning i would feel sluggish and not feel like doing any work. i couldn't walk, talk, or even laugh for long. i tried lots of allopathy, didn't help.
I so empathized with this. This is *exactly* what has been happening with me for a couple of months. Allopathy just makes the sluggishness worse.
