South of France: the introduction

Just came back from the trip on a route Kaunas-Brussels-Montpellier-Nimes-Arles-Avignon-London-Kaunas. The main goal was to visit part of the Langedoc region of France and to visit some of those innumerous monuments and places to visit in this region. What the price of 95 gasoline in France?

Expensive, about 1.60 Eur/liter. Trains are also not cheap but it is very interesting exception - suburban buses connecting Nimes with Arles, Avignon, etc. (about 50-70 km) costs only 1.50 Eur per person. Probably cheaper than here ...

I just think about, how I can send my parents to trip to those places on the car.

Probably the best case is to rent the car at the place: to fly by plane and then to rent a car.
