I think you've defined 'a relentless weekend' for me. Wow. I hope you have a great time at Arisia. When I do catch pictures of you there, you're always smiling, so it's a good sign in my book.

And the elephant is amazing. If I recall correctly, the same team made a massive robotic spider one year for an arts display in Germany.

It's just a lot of aiee to arrange the travel and everything else.
And I have already been so very tired.

But yes, all will probably be well.

And yes, especially since I lost what little amounts of downtime was available in the weekend to the ipad, relentless is a good word. I didn't actually have much committed to on Saturday Day, but by the time I left BadM's and then went to try to return something near Mediterranean Bakery that it turned out I'd forgotten, and then spent time trying other stuff on, and then dithered a while in MB, and then lost even more time to the ipad, there wasn't any time before I was already running later than I wanted to for the Patrick Turns 3.

I did go straight to sleep on getting home from driving cousin home. And actually getting to the hot tub might have been nice.

So haven't had a chance to read all of this yet. But #6) the local rock station, 99.9 KISW broke this story. And so now the DJ's on the afternoon show are demanding to be cited as sources by FOX, ABC, etc.

Also...welcome to Seattle. People bring their dogs everywhere and there are even restaurants where you can go to with your dog. That have separate menus for dogs and for humans. Also any city worth it's salt in WA has about 90 dog parks. Even if there are like 30,000 people in it and it's a serious stretch to call it a city.

For me it's what I want to show them. I always find some cool thing and think "Granpa would have thought that was cool" or "Granma would have laughed at that." Except...that part doesn't come until I realize I can't show it to them. It's been almost a year. It definitely has less sharp pain. It's like the stab wound has healed. But there's still bruises inside that haven't. It hurts, sorta more and deeper, but...not "as much".
