1) yes, arisia
2) have figured out crash space
3) have not figured out what is happening with my further days, but none of those folks read lj anymore.
4)
I want to see the new Annie and have wanted to ever since I saw the trailer forever and a day ago
5) I enjoyed Into the Woods. Haven't seen the stage production, not familiar with the music at all, and didn't recognize Chris Pine.
6)
this dog makes her own way to the dog park. On the bus. To my surprise, nobody seems upset by this.
7) I lost a zillion tabs. I'm sure they were of some import, once.
8) While I am yet to be actually packed the couch is covered with possibilities, and
exsmof is coming back tomorrow to help me cull. I kinda wish I'd bought another Nurse costume, but what I have will do. And thankfully, the blood drive is again Fri/Sat, meaning that I'm off duty as of 5 Saturday night. Whether or not I bother with the photo shoot remains to be seen. Perhaps I'll bring the Asylum costume just in case I'm moved by the idea.
9) The weekend was quite impressively non-stop.
Fri: Birthday lunch with a friend, some working out, Caesar (the next two weekends will be up in Ellicott City), cast party, back to BadM's.
Saturday: feeling oh so tired and a nap after BadM went off, and then eventually a birthday party ("Patrick turns 3! (+27)" - they had things like spiked juice boxes and ants on a log and goldfish and little boxes of raisins), then the last hour and change of RKO (260 people is impressive turnout for a night going down to 14 degrees), then eventually caught up with my cousin's birthday party which had left Science Club and gone on to Cafe Citroen, or almost in any case, interrupted by someone who somehow went out for a night at bars without bringing her ID. Attempting to show the bouncer her fb profile went about as well as expected. People took off well before Cousin was up for ending the night so I stayed out with him at Citroen, very happy to have my earplugs. Drove him home and then got myself home and finally to bed at 4.
Sunday: I was trying to be in Alexandria for New Years Brunch by 11 and failed, but had a lovely midday, though the exhaustion and the moontime meant that I was easy to cry when asked about momstuff. There's much to write and process (hell, I'm forgetting she's dead and wanting to call her more now than ever before) but not just now. tried to make it to the hot tub portion of an all day birthday thing (she filled her day with self care and invited folks to come to any or all of it) because stopping at Marshalls on the way to return some stuff at Costco seemed like a faster choice than skipping it all and fetching a towel from home, but I was sadly mistaken. OTOH I now have snakeskin pattern yoga pants. And then, eventually, got to the massage/spa/board games/pyjama party portion of the birthday evening. Which was generally good, though I felt a bit extra a bit more than I wish. And then it got ridiculously late, as often.
Yesterday was thoroughly useless, including some crying, until making it to evening minyan helped, and then TAing for FFE class helped more. And laundry was accomplished, and then I stayed up half the night.
10) I lose so very much time to the ipad
11) I'm falling asleep. There's stuff I should write, should process. And at some point I need to look at the Arisia schedule. But right now it's time to sleep.
12) need to get to bank, return stuff down in landmark, return stuff to old navy. possibly not worry about costco, buy some white tights, hopefully find my blue drawstring bag of muchly makeup, clean out my backpack
13) sadly, my One Ring leggings don't have enough red in them to go under a Nurse costume.
(
keith_m043 exhibited much patience as I spent a goodly part of the day getting increasingly frustrated by not being able to find them. They were in the box they were supposed to be in, as it turned out, and, as it turned out, they are white when inside out. )
14) over on fb, I posted
this interview about antibiotics and the microbiome and other things that affect the microbiome, including c-sections, and found myself in a discussion with someone who thought it was condemning c-sections. There's research into swabbing newborns with vag juices in order to better seed their microbiome...
15) There exists a
12 meter high articulated metal elephant that can walk with up to 49 people as passengers Just go look at the picture.
16) 2:10 am. At least I wrote something.
