It really, really was. One positive effect of my flight being diverted was that we were able to make this restaurant's dinner hours instead of driving through Greensboro during the afternoon hours they're closed. So I count it as a win overall.

THANK YOU!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU TOO!

You know who you share July 7 with, right?

I don't like sharing July 6 with George W. Bush, but I think the Dalai Lama and Frida Kahlo balance it out OK.

I do, I do! John being a cancerian makes sense to me ;) Yep, I'd take the Dalai Lama and Frida Kahlo to share a birthday any day. Have a lovely holiday and birthday!

Yes, and Cancers and Capricorns (as Sherlock is) are supposed to be very compatible. :)

It appears today is your birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you're enjoying your vacay...you're in NC? Greensboro is near my brother in Raleigh, lol. Say hi to my bro for me. Although it's actually like an hour away, but if you cross paths by some weird chance. And happen to know who he is.

Shutting up now. HAPPY BIRTHDAY...AGAIN.

Thank you so much, belatedly. My parents live in Winston-Salem now, so still quite a ways from Raleigh. But growing up where I did (not in Winston-Salem, in a very tiny town in the mountains over the state line in VA), you get used to the idea of driving two hours to anything you want to do.
