For whatever reason, I was thinking that Nathan was in the Navy. (maybe I just read that somewhere in a story:P)

Nathan's kids were in the ep where we first saw his wife. I'd guess they were between eight and twelve years old?

Thanks! I was thinking Nathan was in the Navy, (mostly because Adrian Pasdar was in Top Gun) but he wouldn't have seen action in Bosnia, then, would he?

And if the kids are even 8 I'm going to have to revise my timeline, darn it. Okay, thanks for the info.

Really? Then who was pressuring him to go after Linderman?

Thanks for the info!

Again, how is he getting pressure to go up against Linderman, though, if he's not in the D.A.'s office?

Well, I didn't think he was the DA, but was an ADA. Okay, confusion lifted.

Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure how much relevance this still has, but an early version of the pilot script had 'Harrison' (Nathan) be 34 years old. Then again, he and 'Ethan' (Peter) were supposed to be twins, so... Make of that what you will. :)

Yeah, I think they must have revised things since then . . .

I think for the Bosnian Civil War, either airforce (hee. I would love if the show went there, if only for Adrian's Top Gun connection) or navy would work.

As for the kids, they were rather young, I'd say between five and eight at the heighest. Compare them to Micah, he is much more active and has lots of lines, while they were just sort of bouncing around, and he's meant to be what, nine, ten?

Concerning the campaign, I was chalking this up to the magics of television - or maybe he took over for his father, since I'm pretty sure he mentioned taking up the candidacy because of his father's death, which probably was meant emotionally, but could of course also have been literally taking over for Petrelli Sr.

Good luck for your story!

I've been trying to research US military involvement in Bosnia, and it really seems like mostly Army, but I'll look into it more. Although I like him as Top Gun, being a pilot doesn't really work with the chronology, since the Navy, the Marines and the Air Force require a longer commitment than he'd have time for. The Marine's commitment for a pilot is 8 years, IIRC ( ... )
