She had picked up meiu, and had found a decent place to house the both of them. She had woken up the next morning to the little cheagle sleeping. Telling the little cheagle she would return with food later on, and do not wonder off too far if he left the safty of the house ( ... )

His eyes were immediately drawn to the familiar figure that he knew was his only living relative. Tear. Just as he remembered her. She looked so much like their mother, it scared him sometimes. A faint feeling of nostalgia washed over him, followed by his now all too familiar feeling of annoyance. She had sided with the Replica. If only he could convince her otherwise, maybe he could save her from the fate that was sure to befall the rest of Auldrant. All he wanted was for her to have a good life.

Van took a step towards her, judging whether she had yet to realize he was there. Seeing no reaction, he walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

“It would suit you.”

"Van." Seeing his reflection in the glass, yet thinking she was once again thinking too hard. No, he was here. How? How did they all get here? Wherever this here may be. Could it be the replica land that Van was insistant on building? No, so many elements were missing. This was not Aldrant ( ... )

Van merely watched as she seemed to contemplate the situation. She had always been a thinker, not matter what she did, over analyzing a lot of things and many time overlooking some of the simple things in life. But he found it rather amusing when she became enamored with what she considered ‘cute’. Like the Cheagle. And the dress in the window. It was something he knew she tried to hide.

And then came the inevitable thought of trust. Van smiled, looking once more at the dress, wanting her to decide on her own accord whether to trust him or not. He’d have to be careful not to upset her, to convince her to join his side once more. Very careful.

“Why don’t you try it on?”
